Nothing ruins a camping experience more than being inadequately prepared for sleeping in a tent in cold weather. Cold nights can sneak up on you, even in the milder times of year.
This is a great post. It caught my eye because of the trouble you have taken with the illustrations.
Jason's tip about wearing a hat is sound advice. But the hardest tip for me to follow, in my senior years, is number 3. Nature calls me a lot more often these days.
