DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- Douglas County search and rescue crews are looking for four lost bicyclists and their dog.
The three adults and an 11-year-old went missing around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Search crews began looking for the group around 11 p.m. and even requested a helicopter from Buckley Air Force to help with the search.
As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Douglas County crews said they had a location on the bikers but had not physically reached them.
"It sounds like they have been located but have not reached them yet. No reported injuries," said Douglas County Sgt. Ron Hanavan.
The missing bikers are a 40-year-old man, a 59-year-old woman, a 50-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy. There is also a dog with the group.
The group went missing west of Palmer Lake. It's not clear where they were located.
